About
Cecilia is a Springfield native who joined Neale & Newman as an associate attorney in 2025. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Finance and Master of Business Administration from the University of Kansas in 2021 and 2022, respectively, before earning her Juris Doctor and Certificate in Business and Commercial Law from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2025. During law school, Cecilia was a member of the Business & Tax Law Society, Women in Law, and Balance and Well-Being. She also served as a Mock Trial Competition Judge for the Young Lawyers Section of the Lawyers Association of Kansas City and volunteered with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program as an IRS-certified tax preparer. Prior to law school, she worked as a teaching assistant for Managerial Economics and Business Capstone at the University of Kansas School of Business. She received the Pro Bono Distinction Honor and is admitted to practice in Missouri and the United States District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Missouri.
Her practice includes business formation and contracts, real estate, civil litigation, probate, and trust administration, with a particular interest in business and transactional matters.
