Gus is originally from Golden City, Missouri, a small, farm town 60 miles west of Springfield. A first-generation college student, Gus attended the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences in 2017. During his time in college, Gus was a founding member of the Omega Chapter of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity, serving as its Academics Chairman for two years.
After college, Gus attended the University of Missouri School of Law, graduating with a Juris Doctor in 2022. Upon his admission to law school, Gus was awarded the Judge Robert E. Seiler Scholarship, an award designated for promising law students from southwest Missouri. During his second year in law school, Gus was selected to be an Associate Member of the Missouri Law Review. During his third year of law school, he was recognized by the Edna Nelson Awards Program for excellence in Contract Drafting.
Prior to joining Neale & Newman as an Associate Attorney, Gus worked for the firm as a Summer Associate for the firm throughout law school. In his spare time, Gus enjoys exercising, golfing, playing guitar, and cheering on his beloved Missouri Tigers and St. Louis Cardinals.
