Bryan D. Fisher

Partner

Bryan D. Fisher manages a diverse practice that protects the interests of individuals, families, and their businesses throughout Missouri and Arkansas. He has prosecuted and defended civil actions in Missouri and Arkansas in both state and federal court and the Missouri Court of Appeals. Bryan’s practice is built on repeat clients, referrals from clients, and referrals from other attorneys who trust him to help their clients.

Bryan is an experienced litigator who has the respect of local judges and a strong rapport with fellow attorneys. Although he regularly fights for clients in court, Bryan prefers to help them avoid lawsuits when possible. He frequently assists clients by drafting and reviewing an array of contracts and agreements ranging from traditional leases and sales contracts to complex agreements in multi-million-dollar transactions. Bryan also regularly handles mergers, acquisitions, and the sales of businesses and property of all sizes.

Bryan also assists clients with asset protection by forming and structuring strategic limited liability companies and other entities, including trusts. He represents clients in many different industries, including real estate, banking, aviation, entertainment, and pharmaceuticals. This broad array of industries has helped Bryan develop a practice that assists clients in a wide range of issues—employment law, personal injury, workers’ compensation, eminent domain, municipal government, estate administration, and landlord/tenant law.

Raised in rural southern Missouri, Bryan earned his bachelor’s degree from Southwest Baptist University, where he was a well-recognized debater. He attended law school at the University of Arkansas. He was a member of the Arkansas Law Review and graduated magna cum laude. During law school, Bryan served a clerk for Judge Nancy S. Rahmeyer of the Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District. He worked as a summer associate for Neale & Newman and joined the firm after graduating law school. He rapidly rose to become a partner and is a respected voice in the century-old firm.

In the community, Bryan is an outspoken voice for development and redevelopment in the urban core. He serves as a member of the City of Springfield’s Board of Adjustment and is an active member, regular advisor, and often a speaker for the Greater Springfield Apartment and Housing Association. Bryan is an avid supporter of the Missouri State Bears, especially the Missouri State Lady Bears, and his Hogs (the Arkansas Razorbacks).
