Mark L. McQueary attended the University of Pennsylvania graduating magna cum laude, with honors in 1977, he then earned his law degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1980, He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Rex B. Titus, Judge of the Missouri Court of Appeals from 1980 to 1981. From 1982 to 1987, he served as a research attorney in the Missouri Court of Appeals. After having been in private practice from 1987 to 2002, he joined Neale & Newman, LLP in January, 2002.

Mr. McQueary has extensive civic and community involvement including serving on the Board of Directors of the Springfield Ballet, including one year as president; serving on the Board of Directors for the History Museum for Springfield/Greene County, including one year as president of that organization. He has also served on the Boards of Directors for The Community Foundation of the Ozarks, where he chaired the Legal-Acceptance Committee; and the Springfield Family YMCA, where he was president. He has served on the Advisory Councils for Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts and the College of Arts and Letters, both of which organizations are affiliated with Southwest Missouri State University. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors for Springfield Landmarks Preservation Trust which is working on the preservation and restoration of the historic Gillioz Theatre in downtown Springfield.

Mr. McQueary focuses his practice on corporation and business organization, banking law, commercial law, real estate law, probate and estate planning. He is a member of the Greene County Estate Planning Council, the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Missouri Bar. Mr. McQueary is admitted to practice in Missouri and before the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
