Daniel K. Wooten received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Arkansas in 1993. He graduated cum laude from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 1996 and associated with the firm upon graduation. Mr. Wooten has been a partner since 2002. While in law school, Mr. Wooten was a member of Washington and Lee's National Appellate Advocacy Team and was a quarter finalist at the National Appellate Advocacy regional competition in 1995. He served as a clerk for the Honorable Gerald O'Neal Clemmons, Chief Judge of Virginia's Twenty-Seventh Judicial Circuit from 1995 to 1996.

Mr. Wooten has been involved in a number of community activities including the Springfield Rotarary Club. From 1997 to 1998, Mr. Wooten served on the Law Committee for the Habitat for Humanity of Springfield, Missouri. Mr. Wooten was a member of Leadership Springfield Class XVII and is a member of the Board for Leadership Springfield. In 2003, Mr. Wooten was selected as one of the Springfield Business Journal's 40 Under 40.

Mr. Wooten is a member of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association, the Missouri Bar, the Arkansas Bar, the American Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, as well as the Labor and Employment Division of the American Bar Association. Mr. Wooten is admitted to practice in state courts in Missouri, the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri, the United States Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as all state courts in Arkansas. He conducts a general civil litigation practice with an emphasis in employment law. He is the chair of the Employment Law Division of Neale & Newman, L.L.P., and lectures widely on the topic of employment law.
